Mainstay Black
Dressy black filler is particularly well-suited for use on mattresses with black ticking border fabrics. Mainstay is a workhorse, delivering excellent FR performance for most mattress applications. Composed of a FR Rayon/Polyester fiber blend with our Micro-Clay coating technology, this proprietary filler demonstrates excellent thermal insulation with a char-barrier, delivering excellent bed-burn protection.
The story began in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in 1974, when Tietex created the world's first filler cloth. Today, virtually all U.S. manufacturers put filler either on the bottom of mattresses, on bed foundations or on both surfaces. These constructions minimize time and expense, and non-flip mattress systems enjoy enhanced, non-skid properties.
